Join Us in Transforming Maternal and Neonatal Healthcare in Afghanistan
Afghanistan has one of the highest maternal mortality rates in the world. Thousands of mothers and infants lose their lives every year due to preventable complications and the lack of skilled care. At Compassionate Afghanistan, we’ve developed a bold, scalable initiative to change this narrative.

The Compassionate Care Nurse-Midwifery Clinical Training Program is more than a campaign; it’s a movement. Through the systematic training of 5,000+ midwives by 2030, we aim to save lives, empower women, and build a healthier Afghanistan.

Key Highlights

Long-Term Vision
Our mission extends far beyond the pilot phase. By 2030, we aim to establish a robust network of 5,000+ certified midwives across all 34 provinces in Afghanistan. This sustainable plan prioritizes underserved provinces, leveraging local partnerships with medical institutes, hospitals, and community leaders to build capacity and deliver impactful care.
Why It Matters
